The 2016 patch represents the club’s historic first year playing as a team. In 2016, the team proved to the world that FC Cincinnati are a competitive team by setting multiple attendance records against top teams worldwide.
The 2018 patch highlights the club’s first piece of hardware as a club and includes symbolism showcasing the team’s leap from the United Soccer League to Major League Soccer.
10th Anniversary The New Kid on the Block Patch 2019
2019 was the club’s first year playing in the MLS, thus a monumental time in FC Cincinnati history. This patch represents the cheers and excitement surrounding the move into the professional league.
The 2020 patch represents FC Cincinnati’s fearless mascot, Gary the Lion. During the pandemic lockdown, he was the team’s primary supporter, representing the thousands of fans watching from home.
